We develop and manufacture stitching wires, according to buyers' specification and we have a huge customer base that extends to the remotest parts of India. We also cater to a large number of clients outside the country. Currently, we produce nearly 5000 tons of stitching wire a year.

Strong Foundation Our company is driven by a team of technically skilled and highly motivated people who have mastered the art of manufacturing good quality stitching wires, consistently. Our Group chairman, Mr. H. Y. Mehta, laid the foundations of our company, Mehta Brothers. Mr. Mehta started as an entrepreneur importing stitching wires in 1957. In the late fifties, with the dawn of industrialization in India, there was a sharp rise in the demand and scope for stitching wires. Mr. Mehta realizing the market potential, started manufacturing and selling these wires in India under the "HOKO" brand name.

Due to our superior quality and service, the HOKO brand is the leading name in the Indian corrugating industry. The brand uses the finest wires available in the country. In 1957, when we entered the market, we were looking to cater to the corrugated box and bookbinding industry in India. We now offer stitching wires to these two industries in a wide variety of sizes and coatings. We are constantly involved in research, and endeavor to introduce new products to meet the changing needs of the industry.
We have many firsts to our credit. We are the first to indigenously manufacture stitching wire. We are the first to introduce rust-resistant stitching wire. The Rust-Resistant variety has been tremendously successful. It has been tested and approved by the renowned Indian Institute of Packaging, Mumbai and has also won us the prestigious India Star Award for 'Excellence in Packing' and 'Quality Approach'. The stitching wire we manufacture is made from the finest raw material available in the country. It is drawn from special high quality rods to precise sizes and proportions. A smooth finish and even winding ensures that our wires do not flake or peel. Electro-plating lends a bright finish and superior workability. The wire's uniform temper and finish eliminates wastage and helps reduce stoppages during long production hours.
